First Holy Communion/Primera Comunión
Requirements/Requisitos
A candidate enrolling in our First Holy Communion classes must be at least 7 years of age that can read and write. Upon registration, you must submit a copy of the candidates' baptism certificate. El candidato quien será registrado para el sacramento deberá tener por lo menos 7 años de edad y que tenga la habilidad de leer y escribir. Al registrar al candidato, una copia del certificado de bautismo es necesario. El costo de la colegiatura, que cubre los retiros, materiales, etc. sera de $85 dólares. What is First Holy Communion?/Qué es la Primera Comunión?
It is a Catholic celebration where the person participates for the first time in the sacrament of the Eucharist: The person receives the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time.​ Children receive First Communion at the age of approximately 9 years and older, after a preparation of at least 2 years, however, First Communion can be received at any age as long as the person is baptized. The Eucharist "COMMUNION" is part of the 3 sacraments of Christian Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation)​. The Eucharist means and realizes the communion of life with God and the Unity of the People of God.

Es una celebración católica donde la persona participa por primera vez en el sacramento de la Eucaristía: la persona recibe el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo por primera vez. Los niños reciben la Primera Comunión a la edad de aproximadamente 9 años y más, después de una preparación de al menos 2 años, sin embargo, la Primera Comunión se puede recibir a cualquier edad, siempre que la persona sea bautizada. La "COMUNIÓN" de la Eucaristía es parte de los 3 sacramentos de la Iniciación Cristiana (Bautismo, Eucaristía y Confirmación)​​. La Eucaristía significa y realiza la comunión de la vida con Dios y la Unidad del Pueblo de Dios.
